「気にかけない」とか「何とも思わない」と言う時の not ＋ bother の使い方です。 「そのことで自分がわずらわされない」というような時にこのことばを用います。
また Please don't bother. と言えば、「どうぞおかまいなく」と言う時の決まり文句です。 bother の後に about がくることもあります。
