We'd better make sure it's what we ordered.
[内容説明]
「〜を確認する」と言う時の決まった言い方です。 make sure の後に完全な文がくることを理解しましょう。 confirm とも言います。「確かに〜して下さい」と言う時には Be sure and do 〜 とか、 Be sure to do 〜 と言います。
[適用事例]
1. We'd better make sure we have everything we need. （必要な物は何でもあるかどうか確認した方がいい）
2. We'd better make sure this is what we asked for. （これが注文したものかどうか確認した方がいい）
3. We'd better make sure we are on the right bus. （バスに間違いなく乗れるかどうか確認した方がいい）
4. We'd better make sure the plane is on schedule. （飛行機が予定通りに飛ぶかどうか確認した方がいい）
